Kuwait Petroleum International has acquired 100% of Saras SpA’s retail business in Spain

Kuwait Petroleum International (known by its trademark Q8), subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (one of the world’s top ten energy conglomerates) has acquired 100% of Saras SpA’s retail business in Spain, composed by 76 petrol stations around the country. The acquisition will allow Q8 to boost the growth of its presence in Spain.

Saras SpA is a leading European crude oil refiner and downstream operator, listed in the Italian Stock Exchange. The company also sells and distributes petroleum products through its subsidiaries.

Oquendo Corporate has acted as Saras SpA’s exclusive financial advisor in all the process, participating in the analysis, preparation and marketing of the operation and in the due diligence, negotiation and closing phases.
