Lacer, leader in consumer health products, has agreed its sale to Italfarmaco

Italfarmaco, an Italian multinational in the pharmaceutical sector controlled by the Di Laurentis family, has acquired 100% of Lacer, a leading company in the health/consumer segment in Spain, for an amount that has not been made public.

Lacer has a direct distribution network through more than 12,000 pharmacies throughout Spain where it sells leading brands in their segments such as Lacer, Thrombocid, Pilexil, Anso and Talquistina. Lacer has a turnover of approximately €150 M. The Company was 100% owned by the four sons of its founder Carlos Andress.

Oquendo Corporate has acted as financial advisor to the Andress brothers, participating in the analysis of the operation and in the due diligence, negotiation and closing phases.
