The Sánchez Ramade Group has sold Cinesur to the French Group MK2

The Sanchez Ramade Group has sold Cinesur Circuito Sanchez-Ramade S.L., the Spanish third largest exhibitor, to MK2 Group.

Cinesur operates 11 multiplexes with 65 screens, as well as four high-end theaters in Andalusia (where the Company is the market leader), Toledo and Badajoz.

MK2 Group, also a family-owned group, is the leading player in the exhibition market in Paris. MK2 has also interests in the production and distribution of films. For MK2, the acquisition of Cinesur represents the first step towards its internationalization.
