National Express has acquired Grupo Alsa

National Express Group plc, the listed UK based provider of bus, train, light rail and express coach and airport operations, has agreed to acquire Alsa Group, the Spanish coach and bus operator, from the Cosmen family, for a cash and stock consideration of GBP 461m, including the assumption of net debt of approximately GBP 199m.

Oquendo acted as the exclusive financial advisor of National Express, including the analysis of the transaction, valuation and negotiation with the sellers.

Oquendo Corporate has acted as advisor of the buyer.
